Mikko K. and Päivi participated Elopäivät event at Helsinki last thursday and friday. Elopäivät is an event where Finnish universities, polytechnics and different projects can share their best practices and learn from eachother. More info on the event itself (in Finnish) here.
At Helsinki they had one particular task in mind: What are the current key topics for Finnish technology transfer professionals? By taking part at Elopäivät we wanted to make sure that Innovation Bootcamp has the best programme possible.
And they brought back good news from Helsinki: We are in good shape! Some small adjustments to the programme may be made to make it even better, but all in all we’re ready to go!
After the Helsinki trip we’re certain that Innovation Bootcamp is going to be great! We’re waiting for you all to bring and share your insight on science to business thinking and technology transfer. Of course we’ve got something to share ourself, but we’re anxious to hear your thoughts and best practices too. It’s going to be two days and nights of learning from each other!
Sign up for Innovation Bootcamp here and come see for yourself!
Our CEO Mikko Markkanen is attending the IASP 28th World Conference in Copenhagen with 600 experts from around the world to discuss themes around science parks. Check out Mikko’s great blog post at Educlusterfinland.fi website or shorter version below.
Together with Riikka Reitzer and Pasi Teräväinen from the University of Jyväskylä, Mikko has been telling our story on how we’ve managed to take the first steps towards a cultural change within the academic community and started getting the university researchers interested in commercialising their research results.
The driving force and the core concept in the project – it’s not rocket science as some would think, it’s all in the power of a donut!
To get started on the same path, take a look at the key ideas of our Power of the Donut -approach and join us at Innovation Bootcamp!
